With the studio being their second home, they may not have had time to even think of writing a wish list! So if you’re looking for ideas of what to get a dancer for Christmas, we have some ideas. 1. A foot stretcher

To increase a dancer’s range of motion and arch, this type of stretcher is helpful.

2. Exercise bands

These can come in different amounts of resistance, so make sure to read the details before buying one for your dancer. A package that includes bands of diverse resistance would cover the variety of exercises and stretches a dancer does.

3. Hair accessories

Spice up a hair style with a colored scrunchie or hair clip. They can be found at dance stores or other places you find hair accessories.

4. A new dance bag

This gift may work better if the dancer is not on company. Some studios will require company dancers to have particular gear.

5. Sewing kit

Due to the possible choking hazard and sharp objects, this would be better for an older dancer or a parent of the dancer. It will come in handy whether for sewing pointe shoes, fixing a seam, or adjusting a costume.

Dancers spend much of their time on their feet. This helps stretch and massage the muscles in the bottom of the foot. Tennis balls are a great alternative if other options aren’t available.

Find out what their favorite dance store is and let your dancer do the shopping for you. Now they can buy whatever they want or need!
